Acceptable use policy
Purpose and scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets rules for accessing and using the public marketing website operated by Orvipa (the “Site”), submitting information through contact forms, emailing us, and engaging with our team in connection with pre-sales or support inquiries. Use of the Orvipa payroll product is additionally governed by your services agreement and any product-specific policies posted there.
By using the Site, you agree to comply with this AUP and with our Terms of use. We may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or cooperate with law enforcement when we reasonably believe this AUP or applicable law has been violated.
Lawful use
You must use the Site only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations, including those relating to privacy, export control, anti-spam, intellectual property, and defamation.
Security and probing
You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems, networks, accounts, or data belonging to Orvipa or third parties.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site or related infrastructure without prior written authorization, except as part of an agreed penetration test governed by contract.
- Circumvent authentication, access controls, rate limits, or security features.
- Introduce viruses, worms, malware, ransomware, or other harmful code.
- Launch or facilitate denial-of-service attacks, flooding, or other actions that degrade service for others.
- Harvest credentials, API keys, or secrets exposed by misconfiguration.
Responsible security research that follows our Security disclosure process is welcome; out-of-band testing that could harm production systems is not.
Abuse of communications
You must not use forms, email, or chat channels linked from the Site to:
- Send unsolicited bulk or commercial messages (“spam”) unrelated to a genuine inquiry about Orvipa’s offerings.
- Harass, threaten, intimidate, or discriminate against our personnel or others.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Transmit content that is obscene, hateful, violent, or illegal in your jurisdiction or ours.
Data you submit
Information you provide must be accurate to the best of your knowledge. Do not submit special categories of personal data (such as health information) or government identifiers unless we explicitly request them for a defined purpose (for example a security verification). Do not upload malware or oversized attachments designed to disrupt our mail systems.
Do not include trade secrets or confidential information of third parties unless you are authorized to share them with us for evaluation under NDA.
Intellectual property of others
Do not post, link, or distribute material that infringes copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other proprietary rights of third parties. If you believe content on the Site infringes your rights, contact us with sufficient detail to evaluate the claim.
Automated access and scraping
You may not use bots, crawlers, or scrapers to extract data from the Site at a rate or volume that could impair performance, except as allowed by robots.txt and standard search-engine indexing. Bulk harvesting of email addresses or marketing copy for unrelated commercial use is prohibited.
Competitive and reverse engineering
You may not use the Site to benchmark, monitor, or build a competing product in violation of our intellectual property rights, or to reverse engineer object code except as permitted by law. You may not frame the Site within another site in a way that suggests endorsement or confuses users.
AI training and content reuse
Unless we grant express written permission, you may not use automated means to ingest Site content for the purpose of training machine learning models that are distributed to third parties, or to republish substantial portions of the Site as a substitute for our official materials.
Monitoring and enforcement
We may monitor usage patterns, logs, and content submitted through the Site for security, quality assurance, and compliance. We are not obligated to monitor all activity but may investigate suspected violations. Remedies may include warning, blocking IP ranges, referring matters to authorities, and pursuing legal remedies.
Reporting violations
To report abuse related to this Site: hello@orvipa.com. For security vulnerabilities, follow Security.
Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy where permitted by law.
