Cookie policy
Scope
This Cookie Policy describes how Orvipa uses cookies, similar technologies, and browser storage on this marketing website (the “Site”). It should be read together with our Privacy policy, which explains how we handle personal information more broadly.
What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They often include an identifier, expiration date, and data about the site that set them. First-party cookies are set by the site you are visiting; third-party cookies are set by another domain (for example an analytics provider).
We also use similar technologies such as storage on your device (so we can remember preferences between visits), storage that clears when you close your browser tab, and pixel tags or scripts that transmit usage data to our vendors when loaded. For simplicity, this policy refers to all of these as “cookies and similar technologies” unless we specify otherwise.
How we categorize technologies on this Site
- Strictly necessary — required to deliver the Site, maintain security, load balanced assets, or remember consent state. These are used based on our legitimate interests and, where required, your interaction (for example saving a consent choice).
- Functional — remember preferences that improve usability (for example language or display choices) where we implement them.
- Analytics and performance — help us understand traffic, navigation paths, page performance, and conversion funnels. On this Site, these load only after you choose “Accept analytics” (see below).
- Marketing or advertising — we do not load third-party advertising pixels for cross-site behavioral ads on this Site as part of the default implementation; if we add such tools in the future, we will update this policy and consent flows accordingly.
Consent mechanism
When you first visit, we display a cookie banner at the bottom of the screen. You may select:
- Essential only — we save your choice in your browser so we do not ask again on every page. We do not load optional analytics or measurement tools described below.
- Accept analytics — we save your choice and may load privacy-friendly or standard analytics tools to understand how the Site is used, as described in the table below (only those we actually use for this website).
You may reopen the choice at any time by clicking Cookie preferences in the Site footer. That clears the saved preference and reloads the page so the banner appears again.
Technologies we use on this website
The table below describes categories of technology that may be involved when you use the Site. Optional analytics tools are loaded only if you choose Accept analytics and we have enabled that tool for this site.
| Technology | Type | Purpose | When it runs |
|---|---|---|---|
| Browser storage (on your device) | First-party storage | Remembers your cookie and analytics preference | After you interact with the banner |
| Hosting and content delivery | Infrastructure | Delivers the Site securely, including encryption in transit and caching where used | Every visit |
| Plausible Analytics | Third-party analytics (privacy-oriented) | Helps us understand page views and how visitors use the Site | Not in use on this website at present |
| Google Analytics 4 | Third-party analytics | Measurement and reporting on how the Site is used | Not in use on this website at present |
| Microsoft Clarity | Third-party analytics | Session insights such as heatmaps and recordings, where enabled | Not in use on this website at present |
| Host-provided analytics and performance metrics | First-party / platform analytics | Web analytics and performance signals (for example Core Web Vitals) when offered by our host | Only after you choose Accept analytics, when we use a host that provides these products and we have turned them on for this site |
Usage measurement
When you accept analytics, we may record aggregated information such as pages viewed, general navigation patterns, and interactions with certain links or buttons. That helps us improve the Site. Delivery can be affected by your browser, network, or optional blocking tools.
Duration
Session cookies expire when you close the browser. Persistent cookies and vendor identifiers persist according to each vendor’s defaults and your account settings in their dashboards. The consent preference stored in your browser persists until you clear it via Cookie preferences in our footer or through your browser settings.
Your controls beyond our banner
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and site data. You can also use private browsing modes, tracker-blocking extensions, or operating-system-level privacy features. Note that blocking all storage may prevent the Site from remembering your consent and may cause the banner to reappear frequently.
Industry opt-out tools (for example for interest-based advertising) generally do not apply to the first-party analytics we describe here, but you may still benefit from browser-level Global Privacy Control or similar signals where our tools honor them in future releases.
Do Not Track
There is no consistent industry standard for how browsers’ “Do Not Track” signals should apply to first-party analytics. We prioritize the explicit choice you make in our cookie banner over legacy DNT headers for this Site.
Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change technologies, vendors, or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes to how we use cookies may be communicated through the banner or a notice on the Site.
